A lot of nice new fixes in the free after dark update, a lot of tiny details fixed except one.
The glitch that occurs at train stations showing the overhead power line gantries off centre sitting half on the tracks half on the platform was overlooked.
Someone mentioned in a thread that it might be caused by games that are played with left side drive for roads. This should of been fixed by the developers before let alone now after the After Dark update.
Are the developers going to fix this glitch already?!

Solar plants IRL do work at dark time too, those have a capacity to store power.

This is a very recent development. IIRC the first Solar Plant to produce energy 24/7 was opened in 2011. In theory it can store 15 hours of Energy but is very dependent on daytime conditions so is not totally reliable. The power produced is probably on a par with Coal Power Plants (in the Game)

Just patched last night. Didnt get to spend any serious time with it yet but I did want to ask:

To be clear, with the 1.2 patch (non-AfterDark), is the night purely cosmetic or is it dynamic? I see the split budget sliders now but everything seems nominal through both day and night (ir traffic looks the same and kids are in school in the middle of the night).

Perhaps I'm getting better at the game, but it seems like one of the little tweaks in the patch is that water pipes are much more "snappable" and when I add on to my water grid it no longer looks like it was laid down by drunken plumbers... anyone else noticed this?

High School is open and full with students at night? :D Same with playground.
Though citizens do not have to be at their work places/schools to progress, they should be sacked during night time at least just for the sake of feeling :)

The solar power plant should have some way of storing energy, or have a policy to turn them off during the night and activate alternative power sources, or else solar power plants would not be worth it anymore.

this is still not fixed. i'm so sad..
waited 2 or 3 months since my save file broken coz of that..
Can't you just make an option that if you unsubed from some workshop items they will just dissapear in your save after next upload?
why it's have to be like that..
