African Portraits

African portraits are not showing up amongst the portraits.

Is this a common problem and are there common ways of fixing this?

Have you tried going to the ingame store again and re-install this DLC ?

That fixed it for me.

I tried reinstalling the whole game, still hasn't fixed the issue, the african portraits dlc is just not working on my ck2 version on steam.

Not sure if it will help, but try this:

1) Go to your DLC folder and unzip the DLCs in question. African portraits should be dlc013.zip.

2) Unzipping the african portraits DLCs should give you two folders, /interface/ and /gfx/characters/. Copy and paste the contents of these folders to the corresponding folders of your CK2 main install. Be sure only to copy the contents of these folders, don't overwrite the base folders themselves, or you will lose game data. In case of doubt, make a backup of your CK2 install first.

That does not work either. Is there any other way to fix this issue, it is quite frustrating to have bought the dlc and it not activating even after two complete re-installations.

Well it's hard to say because for most people they work fine, so how would we know what the problem was?

When you uninstalled, did you manually delete the folders in "...steamapps/common/" and "...my documents/paradox interactive/"?

Back up your saves if you want to keep them first.

I'm running this on a Mac via Steam, too. Any ideas what might be wrong? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game. I deleted everything in the Paradox Interactive folder in my documents. Nothing is working.
