All it would take is a "Army in being" strategy, which would leave the British high-command with not having enough troops to reinforce anything. I don't know how I missed it earlier when f1nalstand17 posted, but discussing war crimes, hypothetical war crimes, and plans to commit war crimes is against forum rules. And responding to such posts does nothing to help.
