from what i have been reading, Afghanistan didn't exist as anything of a nation state, especially not one called Afghanistan, until after the Formation of the Duranni Empire in the 1700's...
my recommendation is to remove the afghan cores there.... possibly making a rebellion Event that creates cores for it...in place of that.
