Okay, maybe infantry is pushing it just a bit too much. And I know integrating these things in game would take no small amount of work, but still...

1) Why not have the ability (based on the morale system) to call an aerospace pilot for fire support like a strafing run or something? I admit, MechCommander and MechWarrior: Living Legends spoiled me a little in this regard, but I think it would add another interesting element of strategy to Battletech, no?

2) Also, I know battle armor came as a response to the clan invasion, but if Battletech does eventually advance the timeline to that point, it would be really great to field a handful of bad-asses, jump jetting around, latching on to enemy battlemechs, ripping off plates of armor adding debuffs and exposing their juicy innards to incoming fire.

3) I'm really surprised how many posts are rolling around about tanks making battlemechs obsolete (lol?). Why not be able to field units like these to supplement a lance of mechs in a support capacity? Perhaps carrying with it an investment in C-Bills to field extra support on a per-mission basis (this would work for aerospace as well come to think of it).

I'm glad to see the developers are looking ahead for this game instead of "Job done, going home!", and it gives us all a lot to look forward to and be hopeful for. Hopefully we will see ideas like these and others integrated to further enhance the game. Thanks for the hard work, keep it up!
