So I was just thinking about it at work and thought I would ask others whom might be more in the know about these things.

A good while back, I remember reading some books and online articles about the vehicle and the usage of heavy recon assets by armored car regiments (which the AEC was). For the most part, they would say due to the size and the cross country difficuilties the vehicle had they would mostly be used as a support asset for other cars akin to how the 75mm halftrack was used by some units which had them. If thats the case, shouldnt the AEC be in the support tab to act as a "support car" much like how staghounds can be found there for the Polish?

Just something I was thinking on, if anyone can help clarify it for me that would be great, if I am correct, I would personally love to see them over in that section for a 2 per card in phase A and maybe another card in B, acting as a wheeled tank so to speak.

I just wonder how that 4 wheel fun house has more armor than most of tanks, still with speed and mobility.

By science!

But seriously, it weighed about 14 short ton or so iirc and had its thick front armour sloped, taking full advantage of that stuff. It was more a tank on wheels :) It was much more armoured to the front than sides and rear areas. AEC specificially built it to be armoured like a cruiser tank.

It actually did suffer in reguards to mobility compared to other cars, but its main issue was size, it was a bit bigger than most armoured cars the british made, which is what lead to it being fire support over "scout" (because big car big target).
