Simple question - do time to rework of AE and coalition?

IMO yes. This don't work how should in theory, and as result we have eg. super expansionist Turkey without any anti-turkish coalition. Or BBB without anti-french coalition.

IDK do this problem, visable maybe only by me, is in calculation formula, bugs, hidden parameters or some other factors. But world, without real anti-expansionist power coalitions, is more invalid...

I think you need to elaborate a bit more, what do you mean exactly? AI nations not getting coalitions? Well if you don't play on higher difficulty they get significant reductions in AE also they tend to be too passive.

Generally I think the system works and does what it should, although some tweeking might be in order: proximity should weigh more than it does now and religion less, it's a bit absurd that you need to care about the Mughals entering a coalition against you because of conquests in Africa alone, while you haven't even attacked anyone in Asia. Maybe also increase the base decay, it sometimes takes absurdily long and stacking improve relations modifers seems to be one of the most important things in the game ...

Are the changes in the latest version only UI changes or do they actually affect the AE created.

I run game a observer and see how AI work without human player. And always and always and always super-expansionist nations haven't problems with coalitions. There is not important, do Turkey conquering half Poland and Lithuania before Age of Reformation or France conquering half Spain and Italy. Great conquests didn't lead to coalition anti ultra-agressive nation. And similar scenarios. Many times and still this is how is.

Problem with AE or coalitions are more for human players, as diplomatic limitation about speed of conquest.

Lucky nations get -25% AE and +25% improve relations. Additionally the AI has a high tendency to run Espionage and/or Humanism, meaning that they will get even less AE and the AE they get decay rather rapidly.

Seeing AE coalitions is very rare as they will only happen if the nation's leader gets an specific trait (conqueror I think) which makes them more imprudent when it comes to AE.

Not really. What it means is that the AI is too passive and that they will try to stay below 50 as much as possible.
