Hi, here's a list of people of polish origin who i'd love to see in EU3 as court advisors:
- Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687). As an astronomer he gained the reputation of "the founder of lunar topography"/wiki (i propose +2 stab. or +2 naval tech)
- Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543) maybe +8 stab or land tech
- Jan Zamoyski (1542-1605). One of the most skilled diplomats, politicians and statesmen of his time, standing as a major figure in the politics of the Commonwealth throughout his life. (stab +8)
- Peter Skarga (1536-1612). Skarga is remembered by Poles as a vigorous early advocate of reforms to the Polish-Lithuanian polity and as a critic of the Commonwealth's governing classes. He advocated the strengthening of the monarch's power at the expense of Sejm, magnates and szlachta. (+8/+10 gov)
- Kazimierz Siemienowicz (1600-1651). Artillery specialist and pioneer of rocketry. He is the famous for his work Artis Magnae Artilleriae pars prima ("The Complete Art of Artillery"). For over two centuries this work was used in Europe as a basic artillery manual. The book provided the standard designs for creating rockets, fireballs, and other pyrotechnic devices. (+8 Land Tech)

Btw, who's Filips Wielant? I couldnt find any info about him in english

NO WAY should Copernicus ADD stability...

But, I would like to see Michelangelo, Richelieu, Pitt, Mazarin, the Women-Regents for France that abounded in the period, Columbus, Pizarro, Cortez, etc etc etc

The variables so far are:

name; location; skill; type = { trader, natural scientist, artist } and service dates.

So are there any other kinds of advisor types available, as in statesman where we can have Sokullu or Machiavelli in our court, or perhaps architects like Mimar Sinan? Is there a list of those somewhere already?

I do believe he mentioned statemen in the past - in the thread about the designer diary that had the "westernization of Poland" screenshot.

Wasn't there something there about needing a Statemen of skill greater than X to get that event?

I think traders will boost Trade Tech, scientists - land/naval tech, artists - stability

there should be also statesmen for gov tech and economists (adam smith for example) for production
