How do I tell where some of these messages are happening in my empire? I keep getting the "Building ruined" message however I cannot find any of my planets under bombardment, I am also not bombarding anything. Is it happening because of unrest or crime? If so, I think they need to point that out so I am not constantly scanning planets looking for what is happening, (Fanatic purifier, and I have ALOT of planets and territory) .

If you're fanatic purifier then most probably this is message about building being destroyed because purged pop pushed down your pop number and you lost building slot on some planet.

Were you purging any species?
If the number of pops on the planet drops below a threshold like 50 pops different things happen:
the unlocked building slot is ruined - you get a building ruined notification
the extra merchant job at 50 pop, from the prosperity tree is lost - 1 new unemployed pop of a higher stratum
any other extra jobs from population number are also lost - portal researcher etc.

When purging it seems better to throw pops onto a single planet or leave a few building slots unused so they don't get destroyed when the planet shrinks.

I would like for all building complete/ruined etc notifications to spell out the name of the building/module that has just completed or been destroyed as well as taking you to the planet/starbase when clicked on. At the moment it is annoyingly unhelpful.
