Partition poland with russia and bohemia and in vic 2 get bohemia in your alliance and in a great war make seperate peace with russia,impose cruel terms,make them release poland,lose great war,release poland,disarm,disregard issues of population,become communist!

I also have a great britain game that i am planning to convert to vic 2 and it is semi-historical(if you count owning egypt france and spain as semi-historical).Maybe we should trade saves for vic 2

The new holdings are a bit of southern-india and a slice of the Inca for me.

I have a problem however. For some reason my EU has taken up the YDAI as it's code and I can no longer access my achievements. Bah, it's not like I play these games to get achivements, but it's still annoying.

Oh right, would any of you be interested in trying for a CK2--> EUIII MP game?

Seems like you have a nice game going. I personally had a Milan-> Italy game which I ported over to Vicky II, but considering my gigantic strength, there was barely any challenge left. I had all of North America and most of Central America, Italy proper, some North Africa, Spain and Greece, and loads of islands in oceania.

Nevertheless, the porting over to Vicky II did suddenly cause a few great powers to spring up. Germany formed and took Switzerland with it, Czechoslovakia formed (most of Bohemia and some central Germany), Portugal became a behemoth and Venice, which still existed (they had changed their capital to somewhere in Yucatan and patriot rebels had defected Venice itself to Italy), became a huge new World power.

So I think you can still manufacture a challenge for yourself if you want to. You could intentionally lose a war in the endgame against a colony seeking independence, for example, and let other nations form clean borders around you.

That said, I'd be interested in a CK2 to EU III game! Do you have steam?

It's 1650, you formed Germany, what do you expect Vicky 2 to be other than a walk in the park. Hearts of Iron will be just as silly. The truth is you're always going to be stronger than the AI because they don't know how to play the game, and if you want to transfer a save game from eu3 to vicky 2 and beyond, you better start as an absolutely god awful nation on very hard if you expect the game to be any bit of a challenge. Really, you may not be the biggest 'blob', but you have the best provinces, great forcelimits, and a teching power regardless if you are merc or free trade.

I don't know how well the save converters work or if it would screw up the events in V2 and HoI3 but it seems like it might be fun to take over another country and compete against that uber Germany that you built.

Indeed I do. It was fun getting there, but the game -has- grown stale. It's why I'm trying to organize another game as an MP for CK2--> EUIII and maybe even as far as Vicky 2 if it continues being fun.
