Prussia did not really "form" Germany. Rather, all the other German countries joined together with Prussia being the first among them. So technically, a Bavarian is as "German" as a Prussia.

Yeah, they joined together under Prussian coercion and leadership...and I agree Bavarians are as German as Prussians, but Austria did not join Germany, which is why they're distinguished from "Germans."

Recently, i though of good way of being strong as poland, while NOT spending a single ducat on relations with lithuania. Vassalize it. Poland have vassalize mission on lithuania which fires, if you have more provinces than lithuania - no matter how much provinces lithuania got. Just let it end the PU with you, then wait for the mission and vassalize them. Before you vassalize them, you can take some of their provinces, like wolyn, podolia, podlasia or grodno. You don't need to take lithuanian provinces for yourself, instead you make it a big vassal.

Imo the best way to get rid of Lithuania it's to mainain PU and integrate, if you inherit them it's gonna be really lucky. Somehow inheritance chance on Lithuania is really small even on max trust good diplo etc. Starting war with Lithuania that owns bigger army in 1st years is stupid. Even if you beat them, it's chance for germanz or russians to stab you while you r busy. Or even Sweden, that's their way to win. :D

We should have an anti-advice thread here.

Do you get infamy for integrating? Also, would a normal inheritance give Poland any cores?

Inheriting Lithuania doesn't get you any cores. The only benefit is that you can do it when you're ready for it, unlike when your king dies. It is quite irritating when you inherit lithuania in the middle of a tough period (westernising, massive losses of stability etc) and then have to stamp out rebels.

Integrating is cind off 2 sword, you can't keep as many troops as Lithuania can with the land, but you should do it as early as possible so you can get cores fast.

Has anyone tried to "form Russia as Poland"? I know you can't actually form Russia, but what about trying to conquer everything to the east of Krakow? Might be fun for alt-history purposes, as Poland did, for a short time, install a Polish Tsar in Moscow.

What all would be needed for such a strategy?

-Strong ally in the west, to keep things quiet there while campaigning in the east
-increased tolerance of Orthodox through NI or lots of NI and sliders to make conversion easier
-Full Defensive?

Is that from the MP game with Pewt and Elycion co-oping?

Nope. It is from campaighn where i am switzerland, Aquia is france, Hagbard is hansa, Ryazee is Italy, n00blord is Poland, Clone is spain, Cacra is Ottos, Grandprince is GB, Brundd is Ming, Serzis is Japan, and holland got vassalized, so it's perm, lutai, moved to Oman.

Ofc. I have biggest TE in the world, but somehow not biggest income(i suppose that it is because i cannot trade in asia).

As you can see from stats, eveyrone westernized. And i have 1 colony in africa + Crete belongs to me(and cored).

Forget about GH in the beginning (peacde out with them asap) and try to stabilise your relationship to Lithuania because they have a tendency to try to break free. Don't annex Bessarabia until you are confident you can take on the Ottomans. But do annex Mazonia. Take on the Teutons and all the little guys around you.

After about 10 years (assuming you are playing in 1399 and 5.2b), the GH will be with no manpower left and you can walk all over them! At least that's my strategy.

I hope they fix the manpower issue with the hordes. They should have a bonus

Making Poland Russia is bad unless mp where Poland destroys Russia is wrong choice, if you want to play Russia play a Russian country for cores when forming Russia. I just said Russia 5 times in the last sentence
