I’ve seen this with other games but there is a company that is using vic2 gameplay to make people get their crappy(presumably in app purchase filled) game. Thoughts?

Thanks for the report! I noticed it as well when I was browsing Facebook and was a little surprised as I thought we had a game I wasn't aware of ><! It has been forwarded to our legal team.
This is a common tactic used, I believe, by a certain mobile game developer as well. They use footage from Holdfast, Cossacks 3, and Empire: Total War.
