oh oh, Moscowy +120 with golden horde, and that is after Dmitri Donskoi crash them at Kulikovo Battle, after he first time dared to hand over the title of Great Knyaz to Vasili I without sanction of hordes Khans, and after Moscowite Dutchie canonised Orthodox Church allover the lands, also without any permissions, when russians payd crakashit to mongols, and when hordes leaders alredy feared to made an open contest with russians, gaving them time to strenghten up, as what was happened, ..and you set it to +120, tell me its just for balance things

Well, according to Jester's explanation in this thread ( :p ) that would be the same as a pre-patch -5 relation ? And, yes, it is to balance gameplay to prevent (at least postpone :p ) the unhistorical all over gobbling up of minors in endless war cycles caused by bad relations. Seems a decent way of doing it, if it's followed up by event driven relations hits when wars "are supposed" to happen ;) Won't be 100 percent reliable, but then again who wants the game to be that predictable? :p

Sikker WE did not change the relations system. EU2 did, the nature of the realtionship system changed in a patch since the game was first released. Did Muscowy and Novgorod have -120 in the old system?, this would translate into +5 in the new system which is definitely low enough now for a contry to declare war on another. IF it needs to be lower than that is fine, but people need to understand that the whole relationship system was shifted in a paradox patch and we are now just correcting for it.

Late,
Jester

I know that - now. And I guess you're right. MOS-NOV could be bumped to 0.
Just adjust the rest of the relations (that Doctarr made) accordingly. Sorry for being slow to catch on.

The whole system was not shifted. The extra BB for declaring war is still at 150, and the AI are not very likely to declare war at relations as high as this. The AI rejects RM's and alliances at the same ranges, and most importantly, there is a cap at 200. Diploannexing and maptrading is still at 195-200! The main effect was narrowing down the useful positiv range of the relation system, and making religion a much more important divider.
That's why we cannot just add 125 to all relations. Often we can, if they have the same religions, but not even then always.
