Adding to all what ilikepie said
There are also two more historical inaccuracies
1- Caliph Umar the third Sunni caliph is stated to be from a Lowborn house, which is wrong because he was from the Hashimid dynasty like Abubakr, Uthman, and Ali.
2- The Rasids in Yemen are put as a normal house that extends to one generation.
Actually they are also from the Hashimid dynasty and they should have the traits of sayyid.
They are one of the most famous descendants of Muhammed in the Arab world. They also should have a weak inheritable claim to the Shia caliphate.
Sources:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rassids
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umar (This link says he is from Banu Adi, this tribe is a cadet branch of Quraysh AKA Hashimid dynasty)
I can cite other sources but unfortunately they are written in Arabic.
