Additional Revolters for the EEP

This modification is completely compatible with the EEP 1.1a, and adds a number of new rebel nations throughout Europe. The new revolters (the Crusader states can only released as vassals) are Armenia Minor, the County of Tripoli, the Principality of Antioch, Salzburg, Normandy, Tirol, Dauphiné, Galicia, Kiev, Béarn, Styria, Champagne, Languedoc, Smolensk, Polotsk, Léon, Mazovia, Moravia, Crete, Franche Comté, and Anhalt. Furthermore already existing countries like the minor Turkish states, and minor Dutch states are now able revolt.

open letter to fate

i found this from heraldica.org:

...Candia (or Crete), which is gules a minotaur argent armed purpure, on a chief azure an eagle rising sable, armed or, clasping a thunderbolt of the last.

this is how venice represented crete on her grand arms; it means a red shield with a silver/white minotaur (whose claws are purple); the top third of the shield is blue with a black eagle with out-stretched wings (but pointing down, like it is just getting ready to fly) that has gold claws clasping (i'm assuming) a gold thunderbolt

i thought you might want something for if they revolt against venice, too, since the other really only works as a shield derived from both the greek and turkish coats of arms. (the star is there in reference to the crescent and star, meaning they were free of it.)

i made a shield set for crete that you can use for your revolt mod if you want. it's based on a flag flown in crete throughout the middle ages depicting saint titus, the first bishop of the island. when the cretans revolted from the venetians in the 1300's, they declared themselves "the republic of saint titus" and used this flag.
