So, I researched the FTL Administration tech and can incorporate 4 systems in a province now. As I started with a province of 3 systems, I would like to incorporate my nearest colony system into my home province, but cannot find a way to do so. Does anyone know if you can add systems to established provinces and, if so, how to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Castus is right, you can't - the idea is that historically you don't add to your sub-area, you just create another sub-area. And historically the question is always "how long to wait until forming a sub-area?" But people's instincts are sometimes like Gomurr's, so we're watching it and considering the possibility of just scrapping it and letting people add in later. For now, let's say it's on the table.

Would be nice if researching technology that increases the maximum number of systems allowed in a province didn't force you to have to fill all those new positions as well.

Currently you have to have a province made of 3 systems, increase the cap to 4 and then you're unable to make a province of 3 systems any more and instead HAVE to select 4 systems to create a new province.... always struck me as odd that researching a benefit would actually punish you. :)

Umm its not fixed. You get a window asking you to select x more planets to form a province and it seems to be always the max number you researched. Only after you selected all colonies youll get the next window. Or did i get it wrong?
