Is there any plan or desire to add more flavor to the Commonwealth of Man? I know there is the storyline to determine what happened to the other colony ships, but I was also wondering whether there might be some adjustments to the base faction. It seems odd to me that a group that has only been inhabiting a planet for 50-100 years would have the same starting conditions as the rest of the empires (i.e. a similar population, tiles blocked by overcrowding and obsolete industry).

It would be nice to have a little more flavor here, maybe with some unique planetary tiles similar to those on earth, a smaller starting population, and Unity essentially being a newly inhabited planet with the appropriate tile blockers.

As pop growth IRL is kinda based on how many resources are available, its kinda like that ingame, I just imagine Earths pop growth stagnated for a while until they got the required tech, then everyone start fucking a lot more because, hey, more planets
