I don't know if it's been already suggested but it's worth giving it a try. Can you guys add the rest of Polish letters to the game? Right now we only have "ó" which probably wasn't added because it's in Polish alphabet anyway. The letters I'd like to see added are: ą (Ą), ę (Ę), ś (Ś), ć (Ć), ł (Ł), ń (Ń), ź (Ź), ż (Ż). I don't know how difficult it is to implement more letters to the games running on Clausewitz engine but it can't be too hard since we even have letters like č and š.

They could do this, and it would be nice if they did. Unfortunately it would require significant changes to the game's text rendering system (and break everyone's font mods).

EU4 uses pre-rendered bitmap fonts which only contain the characters of "code page 1252", which covers Western Europe and Finland (the latter being why č and š are present) but not the Baltic or Slavic languages (and not Romanian, Hungarian, or Turkish, either).

Stellaris, on the other hand, deals just fine with Polish and Russian because it includes a full font renderer and uses TrueType fonts.

I wouldn't really worry about font mods, EU4 community would probably update them rather quickly. But I guess changing the game's text rendering system would take quite a lot of time so it's unlikely for EU4 team to spend their time on doing it since it's not a necessary change. A shame.

Thanks for the explanation, as I was just thinking about suggesting added support for the Hawaiian letters ʻāēīōū. Good to know.
