As the trade company interactions are tied to the states interface, it would make sense to also be able to assign provinces to the trade company straight through the states interface. Also territories don't even occupy much space in the interface as most of the UI is filled with either full states(edict, holy orders etc.) or trade company investments. Maybe add territory to the trade company button can be placed where edicts are supposed to be.

Maybe in the place of centralize state button, after all, you can only centralize states not territories. Also, an overhaul of the states interface would be welcomed at this point. They've cramped so much things there that I wouldn't be surprised if things bugged out at the latest patch. And the solution in previous patches has been to make those mechanics exclusive with each other.
