Please, PLEASE add an error-handling timeout/failover to all combat animations.

I've checked my game integrity via Steam. I still get frequent softlocks where the game combat animations don't play or never finish. This can be movement, attacks, or even buildings collapsing. I play with Speed Up Combat enabled, which seems to be the case for those most affected by this.

If you implemented an absolute time limit for battle animations, say 15-30 seconds, after which the game will forcibly proceed to the next state/step after the animation, players could at least save and quit without losing battle progress over, and over, and over, and over.

This would let us play without fear of wasted hours, while you find and fix the root cause for the animation softlocking.

Thank you.
