Considering that India has so many monuments that give tolerance of heretics/heathens, it's weird that it's so uniform religiously. Sure, you have a few Sunnis in the west, Buddhists in Sri Lanka, and a few Sikh provinces later on, but it's still mostly Hindu.

I think that at least Jainism should be added (to Western India I think?) and also the Gondi region should be changed mostly to Animist, since their religions seem to be more "primitive" than Hinduism.

(Anyways, I'm not an expert in Indian history, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Although India has been religiously diverse in the past (Buddhism, Jainism, many Hindu schools, sramana traditions etc) during this time period Hinduism was and still is the majority religion in every province, adding Zoroastrian was accurate but also inaccurate, it was never a majority religion but it is nice to have Parsi representation. Hinduism as a religion is very "tolerant", there have been no holy wars (like crusades or jihads) historically, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains don't desecrate each other's temples and openly worship in each religion's temple as well whilst also contributing, an example is Hindu Rajput kings building Jain temples, Sikh king Ranjit Singh and his wife donating gold for the plating of Hindu temple Kashi Vishwanath and the foundation stone laid by a Muslim saint of the Sikh Golden temple, the correct word would be "open" I guess, Hindus believe that other foreign gods simultaneously exist with their gods like Allah and Yahweh co-existing with Shiva and Vishnu, but at the same time, they are also all one god (Brahman/universe). So in that sense, it is accurate to have Indian temples (and Indian faiths like Jainism, Sikhism and Buddhism), etc. give high tolerance even though it is not useful on a religiously unified continent. Hope that makes sense. I would love to see more war buffs added personally or just any other buffs because polytheism is a part of the belief and with so many temples dedicated to different gods (of wisdom, war, diplomacy, friendship, kings, etc.) it would be pretty nice to see that come into action. Especially Vedic gods

Yes the deity system definitely is which is great. What I mean is more geared to monuments I guess. Sorry for not clarifying.

For example. There is a yogini temple now ruined via invasions which specialized in math and astronomy. If there js a monument like that then maybe get a decision for an astronomer advisor every 10 years that is really cheap and well buffed. Just an example but was hoping to see stuff like that added onto temples as well.

Like vishnu temples. Shiva temples. Maybe a Rama temple that gives construction bonus cause he had a land bridge built from India to shri Lanka in the Ramayana which still exists today but is ruined in part due to a cyclone.
