While Europe swims with bloodlines, I had difficulties finding any when I played in the Eastern part of the map. What would make for good founders of bloodlines and what boni should they grant?

Historical Bloodlines

Blood of Firdowsi
(after Abu ʾl-Qasim Firdowsi Tusi, Persia, Tus , Khorasan 940-1020)
Boons: +10 relation to poets, +5 relation to Mazda and Shia, Periodically attracts the servitude of Great Poets
Persian poet and the author of Shahnameh ("Book of Kings"), which is the world's longest epic poem created by a single poet, and the national epic of Greater Iran. Ferdowsi is celebrated as the most influential figure in Persian literature and one of the greatest in the history of literature.

Blood of Pushyabhuti
(after the legendary father of Harsha from the Vapusha dynasty, 590–647)
Boons: +5 relations to Buddhist, Shivaist, Zunbil, and Han; 5.0% discount on building hospitals
Harsha established an empire that brought all of northern India under his control. as the goddess Lakshmi had prophecised his ancestor. The peace and prosperity that prevailed made his court a centre of cosmopolitanism, attracting scholars, artists and religious visitors from far and wide.

Blood of Bharhut Yavana
(after a statue depicting an indo-greek warrior, should work like Parthian bloodlines)
Boons: +5 relation to Greeks and Buddhists, +5.0% Pike Morale
The role of the standing warrior is that of a dvarapala, deities who were Guardians of a temple gate. It has been suggested that the warrior is actually the Indo-Greek king Menander who may have conquered Indian territory as far as Pataliputra and is known through the Milinda Panha to have converted to Buddhism.

Bernard95
Blood of Karkota
Boons: +0.2 prestige, +5 Indo-Aryan Opinion, +5 Zunist Opinion, and -2% Temple Cost
And since I'm doing a Karkota run (Kings of the Punjab in 867) at the moment they could easily warrant a bloodline. About a hundred years prior, they had an empire that stretched from Kabul to Bengal. They were promoters of Hinduism and to a lesser extent Buddhism, building the Martand Sun Temple in the process. The temple was dedicated to the Hindu God, Surya which historians speculate that Surya = Zun.

AlexandruRadu
Blood of Toghrul:
(Obviously Based on Toghrul/Wang Khan, seen as one of the inspirations for Prester John and patron of a young Genghis Khan. Currently in game with character ID: 166890)
Inheritance: Patrilineal
Opinion Modifier: +5 Altaic +5 Nestorian
Effects: +0.10 Monthly Prestige, +2.5% Movement Speed, +2.5% Attrition Resistance

Blood of Sorkhaghatani:
(Wife of Tolui, Genghis Khan's youngest son, responsible for the shift of the Mongols towards a more cosmopolitan empire and groomed her sons to follow in Genghis's footsteps. Skilled at both forcing through reforms of the empire and using intrigue to get her way. Currently in game with character ID: 172010)
Inheritance: Matrilineal
Opinion Modifier: +5 Nestorian +10 Ambitious
Effects: +2 Stewardship, +10% Plot Power Increase

Blood of Abu Qabus:
(Last Lahkmid King, a convert to Nestorianism and a ruler famous for being the patron of a number of poets.)
Inheritance: Patrilineal
Opinion Modifier: +10 Poet +5 Jewish +5 Nestorian
Effects: +0.10 Monthly Prestige, attracts artists, higher chance to gain Sympathy for Judaism (Abu Qabu's Mother was Jewish)

Blood of Guo Ziyi:
(General who ended the An Lushan rebellion and generally seen as one of the most important Tang Generals, was claimed to be a Nestorian.)
Inheritance: Patrilineal
Opinion Modifier: +10 Han +5 Strategist -5 Liege Opinion -25 Peasant Leader
Effects: +10% Morale Defense, higher chance to gain Trickster and Strategist. (Optional Addition: Can right-click on the portrait of any unlanded commander with X amount of negative prestige and at a cost of 150 prestige fire an event for respective commander forcing them to commit suicide out of shame. AI has a base chance of 60% of accepting.)

EDIT: Blood of Guo Ziyi's optional feature ties into one of his famous actions where he shamed a general to suicide, after the former had murdered his commander as a way to get Guo Ziyi to be reinstated.

Createable Bloodlines
