My suggestion is simple: 64-bit CK2. I believe this would simply be a natural progression of the game and would simply allow the game to grow. Just as consoles get out-dated and games for them stop, personal computers are mainly composed of 64-bit users now days so upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit shouldn't be to much of a problem user side.

They've said it before but they wont abandon their low end users. The original minimum requirements are here to stay even though it make sit worse to us higher end users.
The min requirements were idiotic or unplayable even when the game released tbh, unless my spare pentium 4 I have is much stronger than I believe it is

True enough, but they could still at least provide an additional 64-bit version of the executable for those who are running 64-bit systems.

As much as I would love this, like Mioman said, It wouldn't be so easy and Paradox devs have specifically said they will not release and work on two versions of the game.
