Well, now I feel dumb. When was this added? I took a small break from Stellaris when HOI4 came out, and since I was thinking of playing more Stellaris again, I remembered that I had this complaint/idea from before HOI4 came out since I was thinking about the game again.This is already in the game:

That's the name it defaults to, but you can just click the dice button to randomly select one from your name list.Huh, don't think I have seen this before. When I colonize planets, it just goes [planet name] prime, and secondus, tetrius, quadunus, etc... For every subsiquent inhabited planet in the same star system.
I don't know why they didn't make it so the randomized name is the default and the standardized name is the button you press. I know I don't care enough about my world names to press a button, and I suspect that their data collection would probably show pressing a button to standardize the name to be even less popular than pressing a button to randomize it is.That's the name it defaults to, but you can just click the dice button to randomly select one from your name list.
