Adding the culture mapmode to the title screen would make it easier for players to create a custom nation for that culture they wanted. For example, someone might want to create a wallonian only country, but could have a difficult time working out which provinces have wallonian culture. This would be a relatively easy change to make, and would give the players a much easier time who enjoy creating custom scenarios like this.

Thoughts?

You just don't play the game enough if you don't already know the starting culture of each province.

edit: two years later, still get "respectfully disagree" and answers for an obvious troll

yea but they should still be able to provide that information for the newer players and the players who don't always keep up with the game, like obsessively. And yes i have put my hours into the game. It really should really make it be easy to find this information to help with custom nations.

Also side note, they should also show the flow of trade when setting up the game.

With the new update/dlc being developed, now would be a good time to add this change in.
I cannot stress how helpful it would be for creating custom nations, or even just to remind yourself which cultures are where before you start a game to plan your expansion.

Yeah, not only would it be a huge help in creating custom nations, it's almost necessary because the tooltip frequently lies about a province's culture when you hover over it (It sometimes changes depending on when you have it selected as part of your custom nation or not), and so it becomes almost impossible to tell what the culture of a province is if you don't know it by memory.

Exactly this! The knights countries culture is Occitan. But the island they are on is Greek. However because this is their capital, when you hover over it, it will say it has Occitan culture. This can make things confusing when, for example, you are making a Francien only country, and France's capital keeps moving to other cultures provinces - so you think that province is also of Francien culture.

Culture of province 40 (without looking it up). Go

I'd like to bump this thread in hopes it's not too late to add into the upcoming update.
