I really think it makes no sense for Great Power X to help OPM Y by conquering half of Region W for them without getting anything n return, only for Y to turn on X once he is strong enough.
A way to implement this could be to give out "shares" of the warscore to allies according to contribution(battles, occupation of provinces before they get shuffled to warleader, etc) and then have AI make their own demands that get forced on the player(or the AI nation that they're allied with), limiting the amount of warscore a nation can utilize in every war. The warleader should always get enough warscore to achieve the wargoal.
The idea came from seeng all of the "ally BBB and win the game" strats. The whole idea that a great power would fight essentially for no gain time after time just sounds ridiculous to me. And no, the relation malus for not giving occupied cores or claims does not do that job properly.
