I know that adding the option to pick a preferred God is supposed to add flavor to the Norse experience, but I feel like it could be very cool to add picking a patron saint for Christians. If the devs wanted to make it feel truly distinct, they could have patron saints be more focused on learning and piety generally. Also, if sainthood for ancestors is ever added back into the game, it would be cool to have to option to pick your ancestor as your patron, perhaps with special bonuses that those outside your dynasty don't get (and presumably increase to opinion if you pick someone else's ancestor as your patron). This feature could be especially cool if Paradox is ever planning on revamping Celtic Christianity and giving it the same religious head as Catholics (which it should have), as having saints specific to each culture could help Ireland still feel unique and distinct within the same church system (It would also be cool to add in the ability to call synods to try and "Catholicize" the Celts, which did historically happen in the 1100's at Ráth Breasail and Cashel).

Either way, whether as part of a wider revamp for Christian denominations or just its own feature, adding in patron saints would be a nice feature.
