The Burgundian mission "King of the Franks" can, in a very good scenario, leave Burgundy with five new subjects, diplomatic relations strain, and liberty desire problems. I think that since Burgundy can take the vassals, "King of the Franks" should include a liberty desire reduction modifier for subjects. This could be a temporary or permanent modifier.

My preferred solution is to give Burgundy a variation of the nobility estate privilege "Strong Duchies" as a mission reward which includes extra diplomatic relations and subject liberty desire reduction.
