I just updated to the most current Stellaris version and all remaining DLCs that I didn't own - bought 6x total DLCs today, including the new Toxoids DLC. I wanted to start a new campaign in Stellaris with a clean slate, completely rid my current Stellaris files of old games, old data.
However, I noticed that the only option is to click "Load Game" and then delete each old saved file.
Does this action to delete an old save, completely rid my PC of any/all old temporary files or otherwise, from prior version games?
I think it would be worthwhile to have what amounts to, a "Clean up my PC of old version game files" functionality for Stellaris, now that we are at such a high number of DLCs and versions of the game (and counting). It's not that I'm being lazy to not click each save file and delete them - I'm thinking of any lingering data files that may not be part of that saved game file that gets deleted, also. It would just be nice to have, a bit of confidence in data integrity and efficiency, if some sort of cleanup functionality were added into the Game Start/Setup area of Stellaris.
