I enjoy Adal have cool idea (better then Ethiopia). Can go Coptic, Sunni, Ibadi or Shia. Get the Ottoman special merc company. Can just kill then form Ethiopia to get the cool Ethiopia stuff while maintaining nice ideas. BUT in their mission tree theres a mission ive never understood if its just always been bugged or ive just never done it right.
On my previous playthroughs I give up and just eventually achieve it by killing the other nations but now thought it might be worth actually looking into it since they changed Cawa in a recent update and want to play in the region again.
It suggest that i get 1 claim against a somali nation and boom conditions met. I have on previous playthroughs had claims on all the somali nations if that was what was needed but that didnt do it either so no idea.
