I followed the instructions for linking chronicles app with my paradox account. However, I have been unable to unlock the "Game Book"/ Chronicles DLC. It does not show up in the DLC list in the launch window. I have looked through the DLC compressed files under "steamapps\common\Crusader Kings II\dlc". It does not seem to be there, either.

Chronicles is not a DLC so will not show up in Steam as that. All you see in the game, once you unlock them via the story in the app, is one piece of music and two event chains.

See if the song is in the game when you play it. It's called 'Guy de Roses Quandary'. You may have to skip forward through songs before it happens to come up.
