Heyo, I just tried to activate my old Vicky 2 on Steam, but it doesn't accept the CD code. Is that normal? Is what I tried impossible?

No, it doesn't work like that. Paradox never transferred V2 over to Steam like they did CKII. If you have the GG version or the CD, then to get the Steam version you have to buy it from Steam.
