Achievements with DW?

I bought DW from GameFly, and Achievements still don't work.

I understand that they don't work with Steam, but Gamefly gives you the standalone game...

Any way to get achievements?

This has nothing to do with it.

The Paradox Connect server has been shut down, so no achievements in EU3 no matter what version you play. Better luck in EU4.
