Achievements not working

So, achievements in my game have simply stopped working.

I started a new Ironman game (saved to Cloud), with the green tick, to play as a pagan tribe, reformed the faith and founded a merchant republic, but I have neither achievement.

All DLC is owned and turned on, no mods are active, checksum is BTOF and I have now run through a (relatively) quick game as Edward III Plantagenet to get 'United the Kingdoms' and that didn't trigger either.

Is there any way to get Ironman working again?

Ok - I've deleted CK2, everything from my Documents folder, wiped out my Steam cloud saves (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2470784), reinstalled completely fresh and I'm still not getting achievements.

I'm assuming you didn't use the ruler designer on this game.

Please try a full clean re-install with Steam refresh:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- exit Steam
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- manually delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the /SteamApps/ folder (this may lose some game user settings)
- manually run steam.exe and let it rebuild all that stuff
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test
