Achievements not recognized by Steam

I've posted this issue yesterday on the CKII general discussion, please take a look at this thread.

To be succinct: A few achievements - Until Death Do Us Part, Black Widow and Legacy of Rome - I should've earned while playing earlier this week weren't recognized by Steam. I met the requirements for the first two while Steam was on offline mode. I am 100% sure that Steam was online when I should've earned Legacy of Rome, although my internet might've had disconnected at the moment (I have been experiencing local hiccups for some time). I am certain that the specific game has Ironman mode enabled - I've earned the Pentarch achievement with it. I've just tested (started a game in West Francia, 867) and managed to acquire Until Death Do Us Part, so my install is probably fine.

So...I want some help so I can at least recover Legacy of Rome. Black Widow isn't that hard to get, but I don't want to send the 100 years I've gone through this game down the drain. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you're playing the game in the ironman mode? Only in that mode you can earn the achievements.

Yes, it is enabled. Quoting from my own post:

Sorry, I'm not clear what technical support you are asking for here from me. I have no ability to grant you achievements on Steam that you believe you've earned but not been given. Perhaps I'm not understanding your post correctly though?

I wasn't aware of that, though I expected it. I apologize. I suppose that means that, since I didn't earn the achievement when I had the chance during that game, I'll have to redo it all again?

I thought I should post it here as it might be a techincal issue on my side - What caused the issue? If I won't be able to recover the lost achievement, I would at least like this not to happen again =(

I'm sure the intent is that if you earn achievements when Steam is down, you should get them when next Steam comes online and you play. If that doesn't happen it's probably a bug, post in Bug Reports if you are sure you qualified for those achievements you mention above. If you have any supporting save games that would be helpful too.
