Ironman includes cloud save -- one of the main points is to prevent cheating my editing.

Yeah, I think it is tied to Hard + Ironman. I am playing a Normal Ironman right now and I don't get any of the achievements.

It's not hard difficulty. It's only on Normal unless you change it. It's just that you can't turn off "Lucky Nations" and can't Reload/save scum to get acheivements.

Yeah, I think it is tied to Hard + Ironman. I am playing a Normal Ironman right now and I don't get any of the achievements.

The only requirement should be Ironman mode. Once you select Ironman you chose Hard or Normal and what bonuses to give AI but everything will be greyed out. I've gotten several achievements on Ironman normal.
