Achievements broken?

And here as well, for the sake of it...

So I fulfilled the Prester John achievement, and it took me plenty of hours, hours which I played instead of doing home work... yet in the end there is no reward. Of course I love the game and play it because its wonderful, but at least offer your players that which you promise...

As you can see, I have Alexandria, Antioch and Constantinople, as Ethiopia with a Coptic religion, and the achievement did not unlock?

And yes, of course Ironman is on...

Not a tech support issue so moved to main forum. If the community agrees it's likely to be a bug, post in Bug Reports please.

Aside from Ironman you must start the game on 11/11/1444 and have no custom nations. Religion is irrelevant but you must have started as ETH.

While your picture is very small, i can see that you own every province needed for the achie, now here's a question:

Did you start that campaign before The Prester John achieve was added?

If that's the case then you, unfortunately can't get it...

I figured it out the hard way aswell....

Look into your settings. If something isn't set to historic, thats your problem.

very sadly if you have custom nations enabled even if you didn't make one that makes achievements impossible

I really think there should be a warning when u start an iron man game if you can't get achievements

There is a tooltip on the play button in 1.12 that tells you if achievements are enabled.
