Screw the rules, I have money!
While in possession of more ducats than the next ten nations combined, attack another nation with no casus belli

Reference to Seto Kaiba's most famous line from Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series - obviously attacking another nation with no CB is against "the rules", but what do you care? You can literally buy victory against whatever coalition you might get

Guerre éclair
As France, achieve 100% warscore against Germany, Prussia, or the HRE (as in tag HLR) in under one year.

Obvious reference to "blitzkrieg", but with the roles (and languages) reversed.

Jenne of Arc
As Jenne, own Ile-de-France

I think you can figure this one out

Fifty Sheep for Every Orc
As Saruhan, establish a colonial nation that owns all of New Zealand (will require the addition of the ability to play as released vassals in ironman).

This is a reference to a line in "America: The Book - A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction" that was in turn a joke about the "The Lord of the Rings" movies being filmed in New Zealand

United States of Europe
As the USA, become Holy Roman Emperor.

Uzbekibekibekistanstan
As Uzbek, have five disconnected, cored sections of your realm (at least five "Uzbeks" on the map)

Reference to an infamous gaffe by one-time presidential hopeful Herman Cain

Psst! What noise does a raygun make?
As Poland, follow the Reformed (Calvinist) faith and have your capital in Krakow.

Reference to a "Calvin and Hobbes" strip in which Calvin is making raygun noises (Krakow) and inadvertently gives a cheating Susie the correct answer to the question "What was the capital of Poland until 1600"

Ironmaan
Hold the province of Maan and get both the trading bonus and production leader bonus for iron.

Straightforward pun

Kaffa in Kaffa
As Kaffa, hold both Kaffas.

I'm sure someone can come up with a better name for this, but something must be worked out for this.

Europa Universalis and the Last Crusade
Become papal controller and declare a crusade after 1645

Reference to "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and the fact that, after 1650, crusades may no longer be called by the papal controller

Play well, build well
As Denmark, construct a fortress (top level walls)

Reference to famous Danish company "Lego", which derives from words meaning "play well" and is famous for making interlocking bricks.

It is on like Donkey Kong
As Assam, vassalize Kong.

Reference to a relatively common phrase and the fact that "ass" (which is Assam's tag) can mean "donkey". I chose to make Assam the nation you have to play as because "donkey" comes before "kong" in the phrase.

I've been looking for a second nation with a hand on its flag so that I can add "High Five!" - as [other nation with a hand on its flag], border Saruhan.

I forgot to mention one part of "It is on like Donkey Kong" that ties the whole thing together - Assam's tag is "ASS", hence Assam being the "donkey".

Good Morning!
As Japan (must start as Japan or a Daimyo), create a colonial nation in Colonial Eastern America that owns the province of Ohio

"Ohaio Gozaimasu" ("Ohaio" sounds exactly like "Ohio") is Japanese for "Good Morning".

Very Definitely an Empire
Starting as Ming, form Byzantium, then unite the Holy Roman Empire.

Ming starts as a Celestial Empire, forming Byzantium changes government to Empire, and a united HRE is quite clearly an empire and even has it in its name.

High Five!
As Tyrone, have a border with Saruhan

These are, so far as I know, the only two nations to have a flag with a hand on it, and by bordering, they would form a "high five" of sorts.

Balkanize me, captain
Force another nation to release at least four nations in a peace deal.

Unconstitutional
As the United States of America, enact any decision or policy that violates the Constitution (eg. the Test Act).

Reverse Colonialism
As any Native American nation (defined as any nation that starts with its capital in North or South America), gain an 80% share of provincial trade power in any end node.

Tea and Biscuits
Starting as England, gain the bonus for trading in both grain and tea.

Crusader Qings
Form Qing and gain the "Crusade" triggered modifier.

Obvious pun on "Crusader Kings"

THAT'S a knife
As Nepal, establish a colonial nation in Australia.

Reference to a famous line in "Crocodile Dundee" in which the title character is being mugged by a man with a switchblade and declares his mugger's weapon to not be a knife and draws his own, much larger knife, declaring "THAT'S a knife" - Nepal is the nation doing the forming here because Nepal is famous for the Kukri, a large, forwards-curved knife (you can even see two of them crossed in the Nepalese flag used in game).

Prussian Whiskey
As Prussia, land troops in Ireland in the year of 1807 (while at war with whoever owns the land you're landing in, of course). May be done from any bookmark date.

Reference to a Jameson commercial in which John Jameson inadvertently prevents the "Prussian Incursion of 1807"

Manifest Destiny
As the United States, own the all of the modern USA.

Straightforward reference to the belief of Manifest Destiny - that it was the destiny of the United States to span from the Atlantic to the Pacific

Fraudzil
As Potiguara, own all of Colonial Brazil

Potiguara has earned minor infamy for looking and sounding like a Portuguese colonial nation, and since it starts in Colonial Brazil, I tried to make it a Brazil reference

The Pirate Bay
As Sweden, have at least 500 ships privateering.

Reference to infamous file sharing website The Pirate Bay, which is/was based in Sweden

The death of a thousand cuts
Win a naval battle against a fleet containing at least thirty heavy ships with a fleet consisting solely of transports.

Reference to a common gaming practice of using countless extremely weak blows (in this case, transports, which are ill-suited to combat) to defeat a powerful enemy (in this case, a fleet with a large number of heavy ships)

Marco Polo Shirt
As Venice, gain the bonus for trading in cloth, silk, and wool and reveal that the Earth is round (have an unbroken ring of revealed provinces all the way around the world)

This is a reference to both Venetian explorer Marco Polo and the polo shirt

(P)Russia
Form Prussia. Then form Russia.

Simple joke about Prussia and Russia sounding similar

A dingo ate my baby!
As any nation, have the event "hunting accident" fire while you or a colonial nation of yours own land in Australia.

A phrase attributed to one Lindsey Chamberlain that became something of a minor meme

IMHO the best ones are those original, interesting, difficult but not insane climatic achievements which wouldn't be obviously focused in 'normal' game :) :

This is Sparta?, No This is Persia!
As Persia or Persian nation culture conquers Anatolia and Greece.

10/10, amazing :D

You look familar
As a west African nation, colonize and conquer all of Mexico.
(There was a group of people in Mexico who looked very similar to African's called the Olmec in the early BC's.)

Yeah, I know this theory. Again, amazing concept.

New China
As Ming, have a colonial nation in North,South, and Meso America.

There is something fascinating in this alternate history concept. My favourite part is probably inevitable clash between colonial China and colonial Western Europe in the middle of Americas.

Rock Beats Laser
Win a battle with a disadvantage of at least eight levels of military technology.

10/10, this would encourage also interesting (and difficult as hell) concept of playing as ROTW nation and NOT westernizing!

The Ides of March
Establish a March on the 15th of March

Stupid as f*** but I love it :D

American Indians
As any nation with an Indian (East Aryan, West Aryan, Hindusthani, Central Indian, or Dravidian) culture, create a colonial nation in North or South America.

Very interesting and also challenging idea because India is literally the furthest continent from America and reaching it would be not - so - easy.

Graveyard of Empires
As Afghanistan (may need the ability to play as released vassals added for that), win a war against a great power and force them to release 100 warscore worth of nations and/or vassals.

O_O 10/10

Hungary for Turkey
As Hungary, successfully demand the full annexation of the Ottoman Empire.

Haida From Russia
As Haida, migrate all the way to American East Coast.

Ingenious.

Kielbasa Canal
As Poland, construct the Kiel Canal

:p

Passive-Aggressive Expansion
Gain 100 directly-controlled provinces without declaring war. Renovatio Imperii doesn't count.

Psst! What noise does a raygun make?
As Poland, follow the Reformed (Calvinist) faith and have your capital in Krakow.]

Straightforward pun

Kaffa in Kaffa
As Kaffa, hold both Kaffas.

Alkoholic
As Bar control all wine-producing provinces
I believe it's self-explanatory.

Cryptology masters
As Navajo own entire micronesia and polinesia
During the second world war Navajo language was used as a code in american army, very hard to crack by the Japanese

Mount Kościuszko

The highest peak in Australia, Mount Kościuszko, was named after one of the greatest polish national hero.

With more 1.9 information, I can make more achievements that require playing as released vassals.

Disaster Proofing
As any nation, maintain 0% unrest in all provinces despite a disaster firing.

Apocalypse Proofing
As any nation, maintain 0% unrest in all provinces despite facing two or more disasters at once.

Montenegro and Serbia
As Serbia, release and play as Montenegro and own all Serbian cores.

Reversal of "Serbia and Montenegro"

National Inversion
Starting as any nation, release and play as a vassal on a different continent from your capital and vassalize your former overlord.

Reference to the practice of corporate inversion, in which a company merges with another and then declares itself a subsidiary of the other company for tax benefits. Here, you're releasing a vassal on a different (presumably more favorable to trade) continent and making your (former) self a subject to gain the trade benefits.

The Two Towers (alternate)
As Saruhan (release and play as), own London.

Saruhan (along with the province of Gonder and the nation of Aragon) is the source of endless Lord of the Rings puns, and London Tower is a famous landmark in London (Saruman Saruhan himself provides the other tower)

Earth Mover
As the Netherlands, construct the Kiel Canal, Panama Canal, and Suez Canal

The Dutch are famous for their land reclamation and sea/land-related engineering, and this references that by asking them to alter geography by digging all three canals

World Police
As any nation, put down rebels in other countries that you are at peace with on every continent except Oceania.

Fat Stacks
Field a two full combat widths of units in army consisting entirely of mercenaries.

Rage quit!
As Aq Qoyunlu, recreate history and conquer Qara Qoyunlu

The name is a reference to the term "QQ", which is slang for "rage quit" and common shorthand for "Qara Qoyunlu".

New South Wales
As Wales, move your capital to Australia.

A wall of corn
As Cornwall, control all of the American Great Plains.

The Great Plains are known largely for producing two things: wheat and corn

The true meaning of Christmas
As any Non-Christian nation, convert to any form of Christianity on December 25th.

Hail to the Chief
As any nation with a tribal (non-horde) government, own all of the modern continental United States.

Not actually Texas
As Chile, own all of the provinces that make up the state of Texas

Chile and Texas have extremely similar flags, leading to much confusion

Very interesting and also challenging idea because India is literally the furthest continent from America and reaching it would be not - so - easy.

Nah. Own all of India with some trade nation like Gujarat or Kochin and then blast a European fleet to pieces with Imperialism CB (get fleet rights from Morocco or something). Then go occupy a colony in Africa and 5 of some CN in the new world. Core the African one, then core the ones in the new world. CN get.

Alternative, pick exploration first, use colonial conquest on a Siberian clan council, vassal it + core adjacent one, and use that to drop a colony there. This will let you reach the island off Alaska at DIP 3 + exploration 3 (which you have, because you just used exploration 7 lol). Colonial Alaska is settled late for good reason, but would be trivial to do that way.

As any nation with a tribal (non-horde) government, own all of the modern continental United States.

I have done this one before, as Fox. All I can say is that if this were a 1.7 achievement, I would call it "By Fire", because you'd get that pop up, thousands of times by 1820. It's pretty doable because you can make yourself a protectorate, subsidize other AI natives to colonize to clog up land, and build 150 early carracks or carracks to handle the Europeans with all the money lol. You also get to stack your native colonist onto exploration/expansion if you want.

I chose "Hail to the chief" because it's a reference to the presidential anthem of the USA and the goal is to have all of the USA as someone who would have the title "chief".

I was just kidding, but that event was province based and not tuned for large native nations. At all, not even a little bit. It was awful and I still cringe thinking about it. If I didn't close the popups, it was seriously possible to have a dozen of them on the screen at once. The worst part about it is that taking one option is guaranteed -adm, while the other has a 20% chance of a stab hit. With full spec native ADM ideas, on average it's cheaper in ADM to have faith in flame mastery, but either way that will siphon your ADM and when it was so annoyingly frequent, it siphoned it a fair bit.

Salt and Peppa would be a real pain ^_^.

Sail Haitian!
As Haiti, obtain a 6/6/6 ruler

Yes, re-electing counts.

(approximate) Spoonerism of "Hail Satan!", which you're doing because A.) Your ruler's stats are the number of the beast, and B.) If you did it as a monarchy, you clearly made a deal with the devil to get a 6/6/6 ruler.

Always bet on duke
As Burgundy, form France.

Reference to a Duke Nukem quote and the fact that Burgundy is actually a duchy, as well as referencing a Crusader Kings II achievement of the same name

No eleventh plague, please
Form Egypt and abolish slavery

Reference to the ten plagues that Egypt was subjected to before releasing the Hebrews in the Book of Exodus.

City of Men's Desire for Victory
As Vijayanagar, hold both Vijayanagara and Constantinople.

U Wot M8?
Starting as Wanka, become Great Britain.

Wanka sounds like wanker. I'm really not sure what more I have to say here

Shining city on a hill
Starting in 1776 as the USA, own Firenze

The imagery of the "shining city on a hill" is prominent in American politics (to the point that it is one of the USA's national ideas) and Firenze, with a base tax of 12, is the richest province that is on hill terrain

We're the exception!
As Mongolia, conquer all of Eurasia while still a steppe horde.

Reference to Crash Course World History (repeatedly) declaring the Mongols to be "the exception" - in this case, they're being an exception to "reform or die"\

Tyranny of King Washington
Starting in 1776 as the United States, become an absolute monarchy

Reference to a piece of Assassin's Creed III DLC of the same name

Bit off more than you could chew
As any nation, annex more land in a peace deal than you could core with your maximum amount of administrative monarch points.

Yeren trouble
As Yeren, have a disaster trigger.

Straightforward pun on "you're in trouble"

Pick a god and pray
As any nation that starts outside of India, become Hindu and choose a patron deity

Reference to a quote (and meme) from Fire Emblem Awakening in which Frederick, upon activating a skill or critical hit, will tell his victim to "pick a god and pray"

Great King Osmanglu
As the Ottomans, own both all of Japan and the province of Manga

Pun on the title of the anime/manga "Azumanga Daioh", which literally means "Great King Azumanga".

No I didn't - victory is covered by Vijayanagara, which literally means "City of Victory".
