Thank you; this is a good change.

Edit: It makes sense, too, since obviously it wasn't working anyway (as in 1.6.x people were getting achievements with mods.)

People where whining that they couldn't get 100% achievements. The difference is that this unachievable achievement is gone.

I liked it as a metaphor that one could never truly accomplish 100% of everything there was to do in Europa Universalis. I will miss you, unreachable achievement. Shooting for the stars is cheapened, now that they have been put within our grasp.

I've recorded, uploaded, AAR'd or otherwise explained my method for every major achievement I've unlocked.

Now there's only one impossible achievement left. Maybe if you delete the Ryukyu one a small group of people will be able to get 100% completed.
