I just got around to transitioning my old forum account to this new setup, but I've had some issues. I couldn't sign in to my paradox account initially, so I made a new one, thinking I could just use it to ask for help here. But after making this new account, the site said the email I used was linked to a forum account already. The forum name seemed wrong to me, but I went ahead and merged the accounts, as the site wouldn't let me check the profile page until I was logged in, so I didn't have enough information to tell if it was really the right name.
After merging and confirming, I was able to check the profile page, and discovered that this is not mine. It is probably an old profile I made and then forgot, but it is not the profile with which I had posted on the forums and registered my games. Is there any way I could merge with my actual old account?
It's possible that I have this wrong, as I am not very familiar with this new profile layout, and I don't know how much of my old profile details and post history were expected to be gone, if any. I am basing this on the fact that, as far as I can tell, this profile has no posting history, no avatar, no set gender, no registered games, etc. I did go ahead and take care of some of these details, but this makes me think it is not the profile I meant to merge with.
