Account ID says waiting for confirmation

Hi, a freind of mine on steam cant access the forums. So he sent me the below via email:

"Count ID: *******PM if needed pardox

It say: i have no privileges to access to forum cause my account is currently awaiting confirmation. I didn´t receive any confirmation email.
Maybe sending another confirmation email can solve it, no sure.. "

His had this problem for a long while. and he cant even access this forum page...

Can someone please check the status of the account and then I can tell him what to do.

Has he checked that the email didn't end up in spam? Also it isn't wise to post his email in the open; that will just give him lots of spam.

Yes, he has the email but it didn't actually confirm his account.
