Access to newest black ice mod

Greetings.
I just purchased HOI3 from Steam with the intention of playing Panzeroo's black ice, but when I went to register (redeem?) the game here it says it can't be from Steam? Does this mean I won't be able to get the latest black ice patch and other goodies? I hope not because the only reason I got it was to play the patch. Do I have to purchase it all over again here?

My games is registered from steam so I dunno if that's a new policy or there is some kind of mistake.

I think that it means you have to sync your account here with your Steam account, rather than registering the DRM code.

Cool I will try that. I actually managed to find a link to the latest BlackIce patch here without having to register which is working very well
