Playing as the Klingon Empire I find the Yridians getting in my way. I must wait to build up my fleet capacity and fleet size (Techs that are never among the options when you want them . . .). Finally I have the capacity to attack. I take three border systems and defeat an Yridian fleet. Then I find the Acamarians, their allies have mounted a campaign in my rear. Their fleet is stronger than I had expected, but one of my two fleets should be enough to drive them back to their home system, which is surrounded by Klingon space.

My fleet takes an absolute hammering. My fleet is a mixture of cruisers, destroyers and patrol craft, their only of patrol craft with two phaser batteries. I do not understand how they can be so resilient and my ships do so badly . . .
