Could somebody care to explain this nonsense to me?

The Qara Qoyunlu are giving military access to the Ottomans despite being rivals of one another and a -125 opinion of the Ottomans. To my knowledge that is almost minus -200 to military access so how on earth do the Ottomans manage to get military access?
Full disclosure: I attacked the Timurids, who are allied to the Ottomans. Both Mamlukes and Qara Qoyunlu rival the Ottomans, meaning if the Ottomans were to join, they'd have to travel around the Caspian Sea, which is unlikely as Georgia and Circassia are unlikely to give military access in this patch. Both the Ottomans and Timurids had almost zero manpower when the war started. I accidently called the Mamluks which, while a terrible mistake, I felt I could deal with because if the Mamluks got beaten, the Ottomans would still lack a path, and if the Mamluks proved to be a decent roadblock, as they were, the Ottomans might take a concede defeat from me. I'm holding my own against the Timurids, when I notice the Mamluks and Hedjaz pushing into Anatolia. I thought great, until I see this Ottoman stack in Iraq via Qara Qoyunlu.
Edit: NVM, figured it out. They aren't hostile, and apparently being at war with a rival provides plus 150 to access. Damnit!.
