Absolutism, Golden Era and ages

I'm still discovering MoH and 1.21, and I'm a little bit confused about absolutism, Golden Era and ages.

1) Is absolutism still present during the age of Revolutions and do you keep the level reached at the end of the age of Absolutism?
2) Is accumulated splendor lost when a new age begin?
3) Is a golden age that you begin at the end of an age still lasts 50 years (or is it age specific?)

Thanks (age of Absolutism is about to finish and I totally forgot Golden Era).

1. Yes, it is; yes, you do, but you'll lose the Age bonus of ticking Absolutism.

2. Yes.

3. It always lasts 50 full years
