is there any point to having this govt? all it seems to do is make the jacobins go world eater on you
I play them just to not get spammed by election events, although you can also get that with dictatorships, but dictatorships are locked into a single ruling party.
You can also change ruling parties under HMS Government. I don't think there is any functional difference between Prussian Constitutionalism and HMS Government.

That which was rolled back was the mistake that kept HMS_gov from switching parties.IIRC that was a mistake. They said they were going to fix that, I thought? HMS Gov shouldn't be able to.

I think the only real difference (and there should be more, imo) is to what one is rolled back in case of reactionary overthrow of your govt.
Those are pretty rare. Seen only one so far in Argentina.
You get to keep the monarchist flag with Prussian Constitutionalism compared to HM's Government, big difference![]()
Why should there be advantages for playing an absolute monarchy anyway? This is the Victorian era after all, how many great powers were absolute monarchies by the end of the period? Even Japan was closer to Prussian Constitutionalism than absolutism.
Being an AM should become a significant handicap by the end of the game for all civilised nations.
Russia, Prussia/Germany and Austria to name a few
They were all absolute monarchies in 1936?
