I preordered the game and installed it as soon as possible, although I didn't even played to it yet. However, I scrolled in the strat screen to see what were the different starting situations.
Now, I know PI had other things to do to deliver us a game that great than what they did and I'm absolutely not mad at them. I'm just a little disappointed that, apparently excepted for the starting dates, all historical wars aren't here, nor pretenders.
The fourth crusade isn't there. The Byzantine empire just change king, then crumble. The first crusade is in the same situation.
Also, young John the 1st of France is king before his birth, which is probably linked with the fact that an unborn king isn't in the game and Philippe isn't the regent (that isn't so grave).
I understand that the CB system isn't designed for all the wars of the period, but I believe we can relatively easily depict the 4th crusade by backing the historical pretender by other countries (that could need a plot, however).
I just wonder if things like that can be added by a patch.
