after arm-3 it's odd that more modern tanks use less and less fuel.
IRL they used more and more as both their weight (armor) and agility was increased. pz3 (arm-3 ingame) was about 15-20t while panther (arm-5 ingame) was about 45t. this tendency was not only for german tanks but all medium tanks became much heavier throughout the war. (they stopped at ~50-60t as the "optimal" and became the mbt)
in aod they all use 7 fuel on the move. and modern tanks have greater speed -> shorter time for the same distance -> lesser fuel consumption overall
i suggest increasing arm-4 fuel consumption to 8 arm-5 to 9 and arm-6 or later to 10. it's only a soft-coding thing and can be easily done in 1.09. (btw in current setup i never used to run low on fuel with germany in '43 no matter if i can take baku or not)
what do you think?
