Is the private car usage actually decrease by providing better (high quality or more lines or more coverage) public transportation service?

My graph says it still only affected by economic situation.

Anyway CiM2's economic growth is too weird.

The amount of residents in your city goes up as your network improves, this allows for there to be more car owners on the road. Although once they have moved in you can decrease the amount they need to drive by improving the network. So the better your network, the more car owners but hopefully less car DRIVERS! :)
