He said, they rushed it and they shouldn't. Do you want the full logs of their meetings, JIRA issues and etc? Cause you are not entitled to such information. That's why I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'm shocked with your lack of self-respect

I would love to get it too, though it’s not supported on MacOS yet.Thank you.
I buy the Eu4 subscription today to support constant work with the game.
I believe this is the best attitude to help paradox not force to make 2 DLC / year to have the budget they need.
I hope this is best way to help the game improve.
I can assure you, they will fix it. The game and community are way too valuable for Paradox. But for now, apology accepted , update given, all we can do is move on and hope for better future. And ofc not to label this as female behaviour. You know the good things in life.I can see that, and I want the business people to take my customer protestations seriously !!

Because this time it had major backlash. MAJOR. So they will listen. This is the third of forth apology in the past several years along with promises that have yet to be fulfilled. I'm not sure why you have so much confidence.
Am very glad to hear this, at this point it's the absolutely correct route to take in my opinion. I've loved the game for years and would prefer to see it in the best possible state while it's still in active development. To clarify. My original plan was that after we eventually stop doing expansions we would take a decent amount of time and fix as many bugs as we could. We are changing up a fair bit now, and focusing on reducing the bugs for a fair bit of time now.
GTAV and Minecraft are the same or older than EU4, but I overall agree, the game needs to focus on "favouring" regions before stop any future development. The game is from 2013, so 8 years old.
Does this mean that we are unlikely to ever see improvements to the Pacific Northwest? Or to South America, or Subsaharan Africa, or to any of the other sad, neglected portions of the globe? We had originally planned to fix all legacy bugs before we stop developing further expansions for EU4. Now we are accelerating these plans, and also making sure that the community will be getting them frequently.

I may be speaking for myself here, but I'm wondering how this release was allowed to happen. We can say "new studio" and whatever excuses we want, but at the end of the day, we, the customers, want some sort of explanation. We've put thousands of hours and hundreds of dollars/Euros/whatever into a game we love only to have repeating mistakes at release. Why are we still having this issue, and why was Leviathan so game-breakingly bad at release? The Studio QA team has never been fired, that a myth. There are more people working with QA at PDS today than there has ever been.
Not if you know what you are doing and buy from LEGITIMATE key resellers. Which is what I do. But I agree, sites like G 2 A are pretty scummy and should be shut down asapBy the way, key sellers often acquire their steam keys using stolen credit card info to buy the game. This is eventually charged back during fraud claims by the theft victim, which eventually leaves PDS actually LOSING money for you buying the key. The developer would literally rather you pirate it outright.
Ah, gotcha. I sure hope so.From what's been said I think that Johan is saying that the plan for EU4 had originally been to continue releasing expansions while at the same time fixing bugs and improving mechanics, then, once they had released all of the DLC they wanted to make, to do a final round of fixes to leave EU4 in the best state possible before moving on to EU5. It sounds like the plan is now to do that in the opposite order - to try and get all of the game's mechanics in a good place before moving on to the last pieces of DLC content. I could be misinterpreting things but that does sound like that is their current intent at least.
I do think that ensuring that the entirety of the map is in a good place in terms of quality and content before finishing up with EU4 is the right call, given that EU5 will at least partially be built off the back of EU4, so having stuff like mission trees already in place will help with future development. I'm hoping the art, map and content teams will be working on that in the background this year while the rest of the devs focus on bugfixes.
